Synthesised and delivered the world's first network of free, community-run bike repair shops — growing from 4 to 14 locations across Auckland on a $2 million budget.

  • Co-designed the Bike Hub operating model with hundreds of stakeholders, from elected members to community and cultural groups.
  • Led procurement, detailed design, landowner consents, construction, and programme integration.
  • The network now reaches 50,000 Aucklanders per year.

  • Coordinated daily operations across nearly 2,000 households and 17 team members.

  • Operations manager for the Kai Ika Project Filleting Station at Westhaven Marina — the largest marina in the southern hemisphere.
  • Supported the delivery of over 2,500 kg of free fish heads and frames to community each week via Marae and community partners.
  • Implemented optimisation and growth strategies, reducing administration by 5 hrs/week.
  • Retrofit and scaled a defunct coffee cart into a coffee fundraiser and engagement tool.

  • Led three regional month-long campaigns reaching over 200,000 Aucklanders.

Shadowed the first engineer on all systems: hydraulic furler and windlass rebuilds, generator and main engine servicing, AC/DC rewiring, fresh water replumbing. Repainted aluminium topsides with Awlgrip. Stood watch on overnight deliveries and charter weeks.

Delivered a 35m ex-trawler 700nm around the coast of NZ. Restored yachts from 6–12m: full electrical rewires, diesel engine rebuilds, deck repairs, rig replacement, plumbing, and boat building.
