Grew the Kai Ika team from 2 to 4 while directing daily operations of the Kai Ika filleting station at Westhaven Marina, driving outreach, and supporting kaimoana distributions.
Scaled staffing and programmes to support over 2,000 kg of weekly free kaimoana community distributions.

Worked alongside commercial, recreational and community fishers to collaboratively design policy for managing the Coromandel scallop fishery — rebuilding the fishery while keeping everyone at the table.

Deck and engineering aboard a 48 m sailing yacht. Hydraulic furler and windlass rebuilds, generator and main-engine servicing, electrical and plumbing systems, and watchkeeping on overnight deliveries and charter weeks.

Marina management, retrofits and yacht delivery across Aotearoa and America; from running a 21-boat member marina to restoring yachts end to end and delivering vessels along both coastlines.
