Ben Mansfield
Ben has spent the last decade getting active-transport and mode-shift programmes off the ground in Aotearoa; most recently leading the growth and delivery of Auckland Transport's Bike Hubs network, where he secured the funding, navigated the approvals, and ran the delivery end to end.
He works across oceans, environment and urbanism, with a track record that runs from restoring marine abundance and political policy development to community food programmes and transport behaviour change. Trained in physical as well as human sciences, he's happiest when the strategy work stays connected to what's happening on the ground — and stays hands-on through partnerships, planning and delivery.
